The Sauer's Story

These amazing repeat clients pulled up for their session, and my two lunatic dogs decided to make a grand entrance. Before I could blink, they were bouncing all over the family’s brand new car (tags still in the window!). Cue me internally panicking and imagining how I’d react if the roles were reversed. But this family? They stayed calm, laughed it off, and carried on like nothing happened. Their kindness and laid-back energy reminded me exactly why I adore working with families like them. They made what could have been a meltdown moment into a memory I’ll never forget. Thank goodness for sweet, easygoing clients who roll with life’s little surprises.

The Zimmerman's Story

Natural (or candid) photography is all about capturing real moments—laughing together, snuggling close, chasing your little one, or sharing those quiet in-between glances. These are the moments that make your story unique, and I’d much rather photograph that than a stiff “say cheese” smile. The Zimmerman family showed up ready to let Dallas and Georgia simply be themselves, and I happily followed them around my property as they explored. We even wrapped up the session by feeding the ducks and chickens! Dallas had us all laughing as he giggled and ran after the ducks—it was such a joyful moment.

Raelynn's Story

Kids grow up fast—but photos let us freeze those magical moments forever. From shy smiles to belly laughs, I love capturing natural, playful, and heartwarming portraits of children just being themselves. Raelynn had the sweetest little adventure on my property. The field was full of flowers, and she made it her mission to pick as many as she could—while I made it mine to document every moment of her exploring!
